Currently I have a Dell 8400 with a 17in Flatpanel Mon.  It has a P4 3.0mhz and I have 3gig of ram, Nvidia 6800, 150 gig hard drive,  WinXPPRO.

My system is good but I bought it more then 4 years ago.  It is really sluggish now. I use it for Music/Videos/Burning and Adobe Creative Suite 3.  I only play 2 computer games which are World of Warcraft and Tabula Rasa.

Im looking for a system that will be better then the one I have but I dont want to spend more then 2000.  Can anyone help me out?

I figure with your monitor size you wont need anything much better then a 9600GT, thats a solid card and a nice value per performance. The sound card is more for your music. And I choose a quad core because you may get better use out of it then a dual core when using your adobe. 4GB of ram is plenty, as well as Vista ultimate 64 bit...i dunno if youd want that or not..if you dont then minus about 70 bucks on that as well.

This system would run anything youd throw at it for quite a while.

And trust me...if you look at my sig...i understand what you mean by your system getting a bit slow haha.
