I've decided on this config. Bought and paid for, should be here by the end of the month. This machine will be used for FSX!
Thanks for all the suggestions!

Hi whammo11224,
Nice build. I wonder why you went stage 1 OC with your cooler. You could go stage 2 OC with no problems.

Very cool config. Judging by your specs, FSX should run silky smooth and free of stutters. I like your storage set up. I'm having an x17 laptop built for me exclusively for FSX. I got two 750GB drives rather than the SSD. Please let us know how FSX worked on the SSD and if pulling addon scenery from the secondary worked well. I'm getting the laptop because of space issues but eventually I'd like DS to build me a desktop for FSX so I'm very curious how your config works for FSX. A sceenshot on final to 25L at LAX would be wonderful Bobby

Hi whammo11224,
I would be very surprised that you talked to a tech about a new system. I suspect you are speaking to a sales person or we might call them a sales tech? I am thinking that unless during assembly and testing someone called you, you didn't speak to a technical person. That doesn't mean they don't know computers but there have been times that a customer gets questionable advise from the sales people. If you want stage 2 OC with the Vortex I am pretty sure DS will do it. What they will do is OC as high as they can with good temps and stability.

I plan on doing an un-edited video. I can't wait. Originally, I was going to get 2 SSD drives, but it went over my budget. So I got the larger one, I figure that's more than enough room! Thanks

My beast of a machine has arrived! I didn't realize that it was so big. A lot of furniture moving to get this thing to fit somewhere!
Thank you DigitalStorm!

I'm gonna get on that review as soon as possible! I can tell you right now, that I am EXTREMELY happy with the way FSX performs on this rig. I hope I can tear myself away!
