Budget:
$2500

Expectations:
Power gaming. MMO's.

Usage:
Web, MMO, Flight simulator.

Special Needs:
Setup for 3 good sized monitors, 27" at high resolution

Saved Ticket #: 169486

Specifications:
My current system works great after 4 1/2 years. Just looking at the possibility of a new build. I can handle a big case. Mine is a HAF 932 (yup, BIG). Flight simulator has given me a wish for three monitors for a more realistic feel. My current passion is the MMO Final Fantasy Online: A realm Reborn which I run at near maximum graphics with barely a stutter on a Samsung 2433 at 1920 X 1200. The i7 920 2.66 is oc'd to 3.2 cooled by a nh-u12p.

I am open to any build ideas in budget. This forum helped my build my first system. One more time?

Can't see your current build (ticket number is incorrect). Not sure if you'll be able to build a proper system to run triple monitors at high/max settings with a single GPU (which would barely fit into your current budget). You'll probably need at least 2x SLI 780ti or Titan Blacks to handle that workload without stutter or frame loss on a triple 1080x1920. If you plan to go higher (1440x2560) x3 SLI might be required to keep up.

Hi zedmib...   Here's a build to get you started.   You don't mind a large case, so the HafX is still the best for air cooled systems..  Not the newest but still the best.

I made choices to keep you under your budget, like the smaller SSD, and the Expert mobo instead of the Sabertooth.  The Expert is an excellent mobo, so really no compromise, but Sabertooth has a longer warranty.   The Expert has Thunderbolt, WiFi.

The single 780ti s the best single card and will drive 3 monitors, just not at the higher settings.

I put the the Noctua D14 cooler.  Large, bulky looking to some but very reliable with no pump, firmware, etc to worry about.  It just works, year after year.   But, the sealed liquid cooler like the H100i are also excellent, cool great and leave easier access to ram, etc.  Very popular.
