Hey guys this is going to be my first gaming computer id like to spend about $2,500 to 3,000 on this rig. I am somewhat a noob to gaming computers so this is why im asking you for opinions and your input on the best set-up possible.

Things it will be used for - I will be playing alot of first person shooters on this rig, I also love to surf the web.

Monitor - I also need monitor sugestions, I'm lookin to spend about $500(this 500 is separate from the rig)

I dont need any speakers or mouse or keyboard

Any input would be great.  Thanks.

before we can help you build your system we need to know the resolution you will be gaming at, so first we need to know what monitor you are getting, lets figure that our first or at least narrow it down to a few so we have an idea of possible resolutions then we can go from there.

there are different ways of doing it, if you want to just change teh front let fan, haf has a blue version see it here you have to ask DS specifically to use this fan and replace the current 230mm red led fan.

That's what plan on doing, but if you have DSO order it for you they will mark it up around 30%, about $6 more.
