I am looking for a UPS that will handle 1100 watts or greater. The ideal UPS system would play nice with Windows, OS X and most Linux Distros. I am only interested in enough reserve battery power that I can shut down the Slade in an orderly and safe fashion should power fail in my neighborhood.

Since more than a few users of Digital Storm computers are running monster gaming rigs, I am guessing that this problem has already been solved. Please share your solutions. Thank you.

I recently purchased a CyberPower Smart App Sinewave PR1500LCDRT2U uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to protect my new Slade. If you have a PC that pulls huge current and wattage, then this unit may be of interest to you as well.
