Note

*1: The PCIe 2.0 x16 slot (PCIEX4_3) shares bandwith with PCIe 2.0 x1 and M.2 slot. The default setting is Auto Mode, which automatically optimizes the system bandwidth. If you install a PCIe 2.0 x4 device, the system will automatically detect and disable PCIe 2.0 x1 and M.2 slot.
*2: The PCIe 2.0 x1 slots (PCIEX1_1/2/3) will be disabled when PCIe 2.0 x16 slot (PCIEX4_3 ) operates under x4 speed or M.2 mode.
*3: The supported functions depends on the CPU installed.
*4: These SATA ports are for data hard drivers only. ATAPI devices are not supported.
*5: 1 x USB2.0 ports at mid-board shares with ROG extension (ROG_EXT) port.

Also my ower supply only has 4 pcie connectors and my motherboard has 7 pcie so do I need a different power system? Here are the specs on it.(or what it gives me,not much)

From your other build post, I believe you mean the gtx 970.   That card requires 2x 6 pin power connectors from the power supply.     The gtx 970 plugs into the Pciex16 slot on the mobo closest to the cpu and then two 6 pin cable  connectors from the power supply harness are run over and plugged into the side of the card for power.  The motherboard and the power supply both are needed.   One for data stuff and the other for power.

Hope this helps. Big%20Smile

So then do I need another motherboard to facilitate the six pin for my gtx970? Also do I need a different power source with 12 pcie connectors to use the 6 pcie on my motherboard and with 2 6pin connectors?

No you do not need another motherboard.

The power supply is what has the 2 6 pin pcie connectors and the cx750 you mention in your build has the 2 you need.

You are fine in the build you have.

Nope.  You're good to go.   The 2x six pin isn't the mobo but the power supply.

The Hero mobo can handle only two graphics cards.   The other slots would be for sound card, WiFi card, etc.  A 750W psu can handle the sli, 2x gtx 670 and a sound card and Wifi card get their power off the mobo, where they plug in.

You really have nothing to worry about.  DS has done this a couple of times. Big%20Smile
