Hello all, I have been looking to upgrade to a new gaming rig but I really don't know a ton of stuff when it comes to liquid cooled cpu. So I have some question if you wouldn't mind helping me out.

The unit I would like to get is the Aventum and I was wondering what kind of work came related to having liquid in the mix. Refill, how hard is it do and how often..how do you get the right refill liquid. Also I am looking at doing the White case with blue tubing. If I wanted to change the led on the fans and there is 17 fans? Which ones would get the led change. Here is kind of what i'm thinking atm.

Hi JakeF12.... Welcome to the forums.    That's a real nice rig. You could change the 1050hx for a EVGA 850watt psu. Plenty of power for the setup.   Nothing wrong with bigger, but the 980's use less juice than the previous generation.

Water cooling setups are usually just topping the fluid off in the reservoir every few months. Easy to do. A full system flush and replacing the fluid might be every year or two, but depends on the usage, etc. Last I heard, DS was using FluidXp, and you can get it from them or online from FrozenPC.com as an example.

I can't answer the fan question.

Good Luck.

bprat22 pretty much nailed it. For the LED fan upgrade, it is up to 6 fans. Typically it is the radiator fans or the top fans as the front fans are not visible on the Aventum II.

If you want a specific LED fan, you can leave it in the comment section. Same goes for location of the fans. If you would like more than 6 LED fans you can put that in the comments as well and we can add the extra when processing your order.

Hi JakeF12,

That is a nice build. I don't think the Aventum comes with 17 fans unless you choose to equip them all. I think that 17 fan count includes fans on the RADs. I don't own a Aventum so can't say for sure.

What monitor or monitors you plan on using and what games you play.

I have two 27" 1920x1080. As far as games I'd like to play everything from Wow to BF4 on max with no issues.
