UPS says I'll get my system sometime tomorrow. As I live in the Midwest and shipping is by ground, there's no reason for the fun and games on the east coast to cause a delay.

I heard up to 33 inches in some parts of Connecticut. I have a friend on business in Boston who is snowed in by 20 inches at last report. Yuck!

I measured outside earlier today, it was 29" in front of mi casa.
I have a package delayed, a nice new pair of winter gloves. Oh the irony.  But still, not as bad as anticipating the arrival of a new DS! |

Winter gloves, eh? Yeah that's ironic. We had a dusting that melted off but 30 miles or so north there's a snow line and friends reported 3 inches. I was born in the Cleveland area though, and I know what that deeps stuff is like. Fun if you are a kid, no fun if you aren't :)
The parts for my desk from Ikea are delayed by snow, or so they say. I think they are just out of the desk legs I want and are stringing me along. |

Well unfortunately I was in one of the 'heavy' bands. We got 34.5" last night. The town over got 36". Crazy stuff...

Delivered! I've uncrated and read the doc and am setting up now. Pictures once I get it all set up.
UPS doesn't pay a lot of attention to "this side up" so I'm glad for the excellent packaging. That box would withstand a tactical nuke! Only negative note is there was a metal card bracket floating around the top of the box. I'm pretty sure it came out of the bag with the various PSU cables. It wasn't rattling around with case itself. That Corsair 550D is sweet for minimalism lovers. It's the basic black dress that Xena would wear :) |
