Hey guys just started OC my 3820 and from what i have read on other forums they say to disable turbo boost if you are manually OC, i was just wondering if this is true? and why? Thank you

just ran prime 95 for 18 hours got my OC back to 4514 mhz at 1.3 vcore gonna mess around with BCLK and multiplyer i want to try and get atlest 4.75, temps all look good nothing even above 70 highest was 67. anyone thinking about getting the 3820 i will tell you it is an easy Overclocker

Thanks for your comments. DS was doing OK OCing the 3820 and then decided they couldn't do a level 2. From what I have read 4.8 is about tops. I think a 3820 at 4.5 or 4.6 is doable with little effort. Frank |
