Hi Brannonsch..Welcome to the forums.
You didn't mention your monitors resolution, but for a single 1920x1080 monitor this setup will game real nice. High to Max on most games. You could save $243 and change to the 5820k cpu. The only difference between the two is, the 5930k allows up to 4 way sli, 4x video card, and the 5820k can do 3 way sli, 3x video card. The Deluxe mobo also can only do tri sli, so save the money. What cpu cooler did you configure? Looks good and hope this helps. Edited by bprat22 - 02 Dec 2014 at 12:49pm |

Most likely a 1080p, so you'll see excellent gaming.

Hi Brannonsch,
Bprat22 has already pointed out a couple of items. We can help you if we know how many monitors you will ever want and their resolutions. Plus your budget. You have a good start but you might want to tweak it a bit. You don't want to be system limited for future growth. But, you don't want to spend money you don't have to. If you will never need more than two GPUs you might save some money with a Z97 MB and the 4790 CPU. A darn nice platform for two GPUs or less. Definitely a better choice for a single GPU.
