I really, really like my Syndicate (cube).
But I also know that I would like to change my PSU, CPU, MOBO etc. eventually. Rebuild the insides. Leave the shell but add to it. Am I making sense? Ship the Syndicate back to DS and have them upgrade and of course add more customization. To me it would be worth it. And repaint it also. Or would it be better to buy another "shell" (UFO) and just use a new one? Would DS even want to do that? Or would I become the nut from New Orleans. How many people I wonder do this? |

We could definitely re-build you a system with new parts in your old chassis! We have had plenty of customers who have chosen that option.
I'm sure we could re-paint it as well but the cost would be high im assuming. Choosing a brand new case would be the best option IMO as it saves on shipping costs in your end and also gives you a new aesthetic. Edited by Nav - 26 Jul 2014 at 10:25pm |

Here's the question: Does the cost of shipping a box you (REALLY!) like out weigh the cost of a new one? Does adding the paint?
DS can do it, as Nav says... and if you're really attached to your cube, why not?

Wow that was quick!! Hi Nav!
Hmmmm. But I love my case. I see where you're going. I still would have to order another UFO case. I do love the look. And the airflow is spectacular. And I already have all the fan covers etc. I guess that is something I will have to talk to DS about in the future(2015). I certainly have enough people that would take my syndicate in a heartbeat. |

You are so right Snaike!!
If I am dropping close to 8K-10K plus? WTH. As long as I could ship this back and get the goodies I want. And look out because I want some crazy unique system. |

You know the type of water cooling you can do in that case!? I've some very exotic builds in it, the cubed look allowing for some amazingly creative radiator layouts + hard/acrylic tubing. Oh god, it can be such a sexy case.

We can do hard acrylic tubing now as well in-house.
