Hey everyone! I got my Hailstorm in May. It is the 3960x at 3.3 ghz.. I overclocked it to 4.5.. The last three weeks it shuts off and goes to blue screen of death.. With something the effect of missed clock.. It's been happening once a day now.. Sucks when I am filming Dayz footage.. Please help?! Should I bring it back to the 3.3? Will I notice a difference?? I really appreciate it guys.. Thanks!

Hi Sharf19...     Not sure of the message with BSOD, but you could go to Bios and load default proflie, F5 usually and F10 to save and exit.     If this fixes it, call DS and they will help you tweek overclocking, possibly adjusting the voltage just a bit.

Ram sticks being faulty can also mess with oc'ing.    Try reseating the ram sticks.

Good luck.

I know your time is tight, but I would suggest getting DS on the phone and having them help you tweek the oc.  Plus, less chance of losing the warranty by doing it yourself.
