Below are my current specs I'm starting to see a bit of a strain with my current rig and would like to start pricing and look at good upgrades for performance. Mainly I play recent games an see the chug such as in Dragons Age Inquisition, CoD AW at max settings on both and the new Far Cry 4. I'm thinking realistically all I have to do is switch out my 670 ftw for a 970 but if this thought process is wrong im open to better informed suggestions. Any all advice is appreciated thanks in advance

Hi grave17... You nailed it. All you need is the graphics card upgrade and the gtx 970 will give a huge boost. Between a 50% and double fps increase, game dependant.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

A high performance card that is rather quiet is the GTX 970 FTW, but from what I've heard, they are hard to find in stock. Another card to look for is the Galaxy GTX 970 Hall of Fame, which has the highest factory clock out there; don't know the availability of it though.

the length of the card is 12.28'' inches and the maximum card length that can fit in that case is 12.52'' so i don't think you should have any issues
