i7 5960X 3.0GHz (Can it Overclock)???

i7 Extreme Edition 5960X 3.0GHz (Eight-Core) processor

I'm wanting to get this CPU but I'm not if DS can or will overclock it. It doesn't say its (unlocked) anywhere, but I know this CPU can be overclocked up to 4.8GHz assuming you have a good cooling system. They still provide the overclock service, just not sure if they're going to do it for this particular CPU. Any help would be great, thank you.

Hi DaxxAttacksGaming......   The 5960x is definitely an unlocked processor..   The "X" instead of the usual "K" , to indicate unlocked for overclocking,  is to emphasis it's their eXtreme chip.

Some have gotten 4.5 Ghz, or better with that processor. It's a matter of luck near as I can tell, as well as a matter of how much power, cooling and expertise in setting voltages you have :)
