So I went online and found that the GPU is able to provide up to 4 active displays, which be very helpful when trading stocks/options/etc... but on the laptop there is only an HDMI port and what looks to be a VGA port.
How can I hook-up multiple monitors to the laptop? I might be getting too naive here but yeah. Here's the link to where I found that information: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-765M.92907.0.html under "Features" Thanks! :D Edited by JerDev - 26 Jul 2013 at 6:29pm |

This question is probably best fully answered by DS themselves, but in a nutshell, the GPU is capable of running 4 displays but you're only given 2 additional outputs. So, at most you would be able to use would be 3 (2 external + 1 built-in). Depending on how the 2 external display connectors are setup (HDMI & VGA), you might be only able to use one of them at a time.
Hope this helps out! Edited by fstcvc - 26 Jul 2013 at 10:52pm |

Thanks!
Yes I was wondering about that also, using both vga and hdmi. But if all else fails, I could always use this: http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/dh2go/digital_se/#close |

While the graphics card can handle up to that many displays, it will depend on the laptop and how many outputs it has. I will check with our team as well and get back to you.

Quite simply, certain outputs can support several displays connected to them, from the website linked(original post):"Furthermore, high resolution monitors of up to 3840x2160 pixels can now be connected using DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 1.4a if available."
Therefore, If you have HDMI 1.4a or DisplayPort 1.2, then you're good to go. Why?: If you will be running any displays that have reasonable resolutions e.g 1366x768...and so on,then your total resolution across all displays will be high, as will the load on the graphics card and the port. to use something like the DualHead2Go then you need to have DisplayPort 1.2 to hook it up to on the laptop, VGA won't cut it and I'm not sure if HDMI can run multiple displays. If you could be slightly more specific, I'd be glad to help more |

I just checked with the team, you can have two displays working externally and one on the monitor itself (three total).
