After upgrades and minor repairs had my Hailstorm returned from DS in the wood crate. As reported before and with pics, it was well packed and all seemed OK. Fired up right away and played around with the settings and did some work. Sent an email to DS about the door covering the front side USB ports that would not close and the front panel covering the LCS seemed to be pushed in. Then i found out the LG Blue ray player did not work when i pushed the button when i was trying to load a game.
Not a DS fanboy yet but i was very pleased with their response to my problems. Not sure if the shipping box was dropped or whatever but DS responded with an e-mail on how to correct the first 2 minor issues which which were easily fixed and DS tech Chris called to help me check the LG player which we could not get get to work. DS is sending me a replacement on Monday. That is what i call excellent service and one reason i'm glad i bought from DS. |
