Increase clockspeeds beyond ever before



EVGA's greatly anticipated GPU Voltage Tuner utility just became available this morning exclusively to all EVGA registered members. When coupled with the company's Precision Overclocking Utility, it is now easier than ever for enthusiasts and gamers alike to squeeze the most performance from their cards.

This first version of the utility supports all of EVGA's own 65nm GTX 260, GTX 280, and GTX 295 models with a total of 18 cards being supported at this time. The development team is currently working on updates to provide support for a broader range of cards such as its 55nm GTX 260 Core 216 models and 55nm GTX 285 models.

As far as software requirements go, 32-bit and 64-bit Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 are all supported, however GeForce 181.22 drivers or higher are also required. EVGA has also noted on its GPU Voltage Tuner FAQ page that the tuner will only adjust the GPU voltage set in 3D mode, and highly recommends to take one voltage step at a time and thoroughly test each step with 3D applications. If unsafe voltages are applied at Windows startup, it is suggested to boot into Safe Mode, completely uninstall the GeForce graphics drivers and then reinstall them.

Basically, the utility is friendly to an extent that is only controlled by the experience of the user. But we are quite confident that those even looking into this utility should already have some prior knowledge of GPU overclocking.

I'm pretty sure using this software will void your warranty with DS but to be sure ask DS if you gonna try it. Not worth losing your warranty over.
