Hey guys,

The rig I've purchased has just been delivered. Was quite excited way up to the point I realized the ports the Maximus VII Hero mobo in a 760T chassis doesn't include a displayport. Just vga, dvi's and hdmi.

Now, my choice of screen was the rog swift 27". The damned screen just comes with a displayport.
So I tried using a hdmi cable with a hdmi/display port adapter temporarily. The screen failed to load up.

If anyone could tell me how they get around connecting a stupid rog swift screen to the computer I'd be forever grateful.

Hi Salman.... You want to connect your monitor to the video card ports beneath the rear fan and not the motherboard ports next to the fan. There might be plastic caps covering them.
