I am going to order a Vanquish 2 level 2 and I am wondering how long it will take for it to get here. I live in Maryland which is on the east coast and I've heard that their facility is located in California which is really far away but the site says that the estimated ship date is 1-5 business days and I really doubt that since I am on the east coast so how long would it take for it to get here?

It honestly varies, weather also plays a big factor in delivery also. The estimated ship date is 1-5 business days when it leaves Digital Storm.

I live in Ohio and it was 5 days for me.

I'd figure on the 5 day mark.

Remember, 5 business days =/= 5 regular days. If your machine ships on a Tuesday, it will (probably) get there before the next Tuesday, weather permitting.

I bought my vanquish II sometime near the last week of February. Shipped out Feb 27 and I haven't gotten mine(I live in Georgia.) I understand the weather factor, but what irks me is I didn't a location update of where my package was until Wednesday March 4th. UPS won't give out package locations unless they are at a UPS hub. So the latest update is from Thursday and said it was leaving a UPS hub in Illinois and then another update saying it will be delayed. So I have no idea where my $1000+ PC is because UPS won't give out package location information. I don't recall what shipping options are offered, but I would avoid UPS. Just my 2 cents.

Please be patient, I know this is easier said than done. The snow and ice is a factor, most likely. In this area we had rain changing to sleet and freezing rain then a couple inches to over a foot of snow on top of the ice.

I know that I65 was shut down with people stuck in their trucks and cars for 16 hours in one spot. I-71, I75 was also shut down. There have been many shut-downs due to accidents also.

Also there have been 2 plane crashes (planes skidding off the runways) that caused thousands of flight delays.

I know this doesn't help but may explain a bit of what is going on here in the north.


Track it on the UPS site twice a day, morning and night will get the best results after it leaves DS.

I know the South got hit with a snow storm a few days ago so that can play a big factor like Pacesetter mentioned.

I understand the weather issue. My problem is that it was shipped Friday and I didn't get an update till wed. And now since they do an update once every few days I have no idea where my pc is. And I've tried calling customer service and they give me the same answer. I should at least give me some kind of update of where it is.

I totally understand the frustration.
Another thing to consider in shipping is: Truckers are limited to 8 hours on the road and 8 hours rest. The computer probably made 2 stops in Ca, then Utah, then Illinois.(mine went from Utah to Ky then back north).

At any rate this is beyond the control of DS. I'd call UPS and ask for problem resolution or a regional manager.

As UPS stated the truckers only do updates from a UPS center or drop point.

There is a breakdown somewhere in UPS.

EDIT: When DS does an update of it being shipped, That is when they call for a pick-up. If that is on Friday it may not actually get picked up until Monday. ( this was my experience).

I tried. I'm not mad at DS. Just don't agree with UPS. Gonna try to avoid using them if I have to for now on. At least usps has more hubs or "checkpoints" I should at least be able to get some sort of location on my order. I have a $1000 pc somewhere between IL and GA. Don't understand why I can't ever better updates than every 2-3 days. Should at least be a way to track a package that's moreally than $500

I agree. I must say I was happy to see my system shipped with FedEx. It did take 2 1/2 days to get from Utah to Ky but I got an update at like 1:38 AM saying it was there.

If only personal delivery was available from DS.

At this point I would be happier with fedex. Crazy thing is it has nothing to do with the weather. Taking 4 days to get one update is unacceptable. And not being able or allowed to get an update when I want or at least a better one than from 2 days or 4 days. it's Ludacris. I'm recurring to the rapper.
