Dear Matt,

I hope you get a chance to read this.
Before you get too upset about not hearing from me [or anyone at DSO] Its because your barricuda firewall has blocked all the reply emails I've sent. And I only have your email address as a contact.

But heres my response to your original inquiry:

Matt,

The 790i and DDR3 memory is only available with our category 4 system. What you can do, is select stage 4 and downgrade those components to match your ticket. DDR3 memory starts at 1333mhz speeds. I also believe our dvd burners are dual layer supported.

Also, in order to have an e-sata connection I would like to upgrade to a 790i motherboard, but I didn't see it as an option in the configuration. Also, since this motherboard requires DDR3 memory, I would like to upgrade to 4GB of DDR3 memory, but I didn't that as an option either. So please let me know if it would be possible to have 4GB of DDR3 memory and if I would be able to get it at a 1066MHz speed like my current configuration (or at least 800MHz). Then let me know how much this will cost if you can't setup a configuration with these options.

Hey, thats what im doing with my 2666 buck system =P. Taking a 950si model and ghettoin' it out. That way i get the mobo and ram i want while it fits the nice poor mans budget im on haha.

Plus its a big ego boost to select the 950si to start off..its like..oh yea..im picking the high end. Its like getting a nice mid sized family car...but with a corvette engine in it. You get the best of both worlds. You get the utility of 4 doors and the ability to complain about premium gas prices.

What were we talking about again?

P.S -- I own a 2001 Lincoln Continental with flowmasters, im not kidding either. >=D. I have the best of both worlds! Just like my computer will have soon!
