Hey everyone, I have the Vanquish II level 3 and have been trying to play ARMA, which looks great. However, I was wondering what some of you guys with a similar set up put in as your default options.

The problem I have is auto detect is maxing everything out to Ultra at the highest resolution, but I am only getting 22FPS...When I go in and try to knock it back to Very Good, I get maybe 27 FPS, if I knock the resolution down a few notches and put it on "good" I maybe get 30FPS.

I find it crazy it can run Tomb Raider at 60 FPS easily at very high settings, but knocking ARMA III back to 2005 levels barely gets me in to the 30 FPS..

Is there any patches or updates, or is the game just not as polished to allow for good performance on a budget machine.

Even with high end machines people who try to play on high will get low fps. I think its just the game.

The engine is not very optimized nor are the ports of arma 2 missions to arma 3 such as Wasteland

Add me on steam "the skojo" I use some different launch parameters and try to bump that up a bit

I only play arma 3 so would love some other DS'ers to play with

Unfortunatelly the game isn't optimized very well. Even monster builds can have a hard time running it. Try pulling back the render distance a bit.
