Specifically, are new displays taken out and tested for defects, or are they just shipped in the packaging DS bought them in? Also, are they covered by factory warranties, or the DS warranty I purchased?

I'm certainly not regretting my decision to add on the PG278Q, but I've heard of many people having a tough time getting a working display, presumably because of the relatively recent release. Will the team have tested my display to ensure it is working properly, or do they only test the rig itself?

E. DEAD PIXEL POLICY
Since Digital Storm does not directly manufacture LCD panels for our monitors or laptops, we are going to pass over the same warranty terms that Digital Storm has with the manufacturer(s) to the customer. If any of the three conditions are met or exceeded, Digital Storm will replace the unit for the customer:

Over 6 bright dots or 6 black dots or 6 mixed bright and block dots in total.

They only test the rig

PG278Q so good. I am in love with this monitor. Hopefully everything works out for you (and I see you have 3x GTX 980's... so it will). Because it is amazing.

Good to hear someone is having a positive experience with it - I'm nearly as excited for the monitor as I am for the rig. I felt it was a good fit with the cards and vice versa. Enough VRAM to make use of the resolution at ultra quality, and a big enough resolution that 4 GB of VRAM isn't a waste. Although, I don't really take much stock in 'overkill'. Strong
