Been fiddling around my configuration, it seems to be if you want to go from 4x 980 to 2x Titan Z's it's $95 more, but used to be around $5000. Something buggered with this?

Why? Are they still superior over 980's & Titan blacks? If I would go with 2x Titan Z would I need to go with H20 Hydrolux 5 (4 cards) or hydrolux 3 (2 cards) because the Titan Z's are duel GPU's.

They need to be competitive...AMD's R9 295X2 is now listed at $1000, so NVIDIA dropped the price of the Titan Z to $1500.

The 2x Titan Z is a 2 card water cooling setup. So, Level 3 HydroLux.

One Titan Z has just about the same power as two Titan Blacks (however, slightly down clocked). These can be overlocked to match the performance and beat it, especially when water cooled. You would pick the option with 2 cards. |

Thanks for all of the info, just curious are there any other editions of the Titan Z like of the 980, 970 & lower. Classified, Superclocked, those editions. Or is NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Z the only edition?

Not quite sure what you mean by edition. Titan Z, Titan Black, 980, and 970 are reference designs and chips from NVIDIA: http://www.geforce.com/hardware
If you're confused by the naming from the card manufacturers, check out this thread: http://www.digitalstormonline.com/forums/gpu-classifications-tidf23657/ Edit: I keep forgetting this doesn't auto hyperlink Edited by - 06 Nov 2014 at 10:45am |

Yes I mean chips from other companies, EVGA has a 980 version called like classified, & that gpu has better clock speed & boost speed.
Possible to have 4x Titan Z's in the Aventum II case? |

Jeez Meller, lighten up a little. You know a lot and people appreciate your advice.
@KingHeikir, no, you cannot have 4x Titan Z's due to the SLI bridge. The most you can have in SLI is 4-way. You can have a larger array of AMD cards in Crossfire, though. |
