I have a DS ODE 2 Level 3. I plugged in a 3.0 flash drive in a blue 3.0 port today and my pc didn't recognize it. I plugged it into a 2.0 and it worked fine. When I looked at the motherboard manual and then at my MB, there is nothing plugged into the USB3-34 slot.

There is a cable with a blue 3.0 end that runs out the back of my pc. I have it plugged into one of the 3 blue ports. Is it supposed to be that way, or is that part of the problem?

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Andi

Hi Andi.... Sounds like you fixed the problem.   The ODE , Corsair 600t case uses a stiff black pass through cable to connect the front USB 3 to a rear USB 3 port. This goes back to when a lot of motherboards didn't have any USB 3 headers on the internal part, mid board, of the motherboard, just on the rear I/o panel.

Hope this helps and good luck.

If you don't want to use up a rear USB 3, then you can get a
USB 3.0 A Type Female to Female 20 Pin Box Header Slot Adapter from Amazon for several dollars.   Just have to coil up the cable behind the right side cover.
