Hey everyone,

So I plan on purchasing my 2nd DS rig. I bought my current rig 3 years ago and it was the best decision I have made with regard to gaming.

Anyway here is what I am thinking. My plan is to buy around black Friday, for the sales and all that jazz, so I have a few final months to get the rest of my funds together.

I am willing to spend.

Here are the initial 1st draft specs:

Total Price with Instant Savings: $10,694.00

Boost Memory: Memory Fan Kit Only (Does not include memory overclocking service)

Here are some initial questions:
1. Why such a big price difference between these two? 1x (512GB Solid State (By: Samsung)/1x (600GB Solid State (By: Intel). What kind of gains in using SSDs as my data drives.

2. Not sure about case mods? any recommendations? Not a priority.

3. How epic is the
3x SLI Triple (NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN 6GB?

4. From the perspective of cryo V water cooling. I game quite a bit. I imagine, cryo will give no real extra advantage?

Look forward to community feedback.
DS was such a pleasure to buy from last time around.

Hi bally7.. That is an awesome rig. Strong If this is a gaming rig, then some of it, like the cpu and 64GB ram is overkill, but certainly doesn't hurt if an epic build is your thing.

1. No sure about the price difference.

2. Other than custom paint jobs, I'm not sure what case mods they have , if any. You might consider their new plated, rigid copper tubing. Adds $500 to the price and is real nice. Not on the config yet, but over the phone you can add it.

3. Triple Titan is pretty epic. Drooling Can't do much better and it is better than quad sli, 2x gtx 690 mainly because most games and programs can't utilize a quad sli setup effectively. Not sure of your monitor setup, but this will smoke most anything.

4. The Aventum cooling is more than adequate to handle any task you give it. The Cryo is nice, but not needed.

Good Luck. Big%20Smile

First off you said you were not purchasing this till black you have more than a few months by that time gtx 700 series will be released as well as ivy bridge e so it seems pointless to be planning this early with all the new hardware slated for release

The rigid copper tubing sounds delightful.

There are probably new bits of tech that are coming between now and November that I should keep an eye for.

How durable is the water cooling? Anyone ever have issues ?

Awesome choice mine is on its way as we are typing. Here is a sneak peak of what the copper tubing looks like.

Please note if you choose Nickle plated copper, you can not use the Peltier aka cryo setup. My opinion on the 3 way sli which i was looking into as well is this. For an extra thousand dollars i was not impressed with the benchmarks with 3 cards over 2. Just my opinion...

Gorgeous!

I have one Titan and a 3770k. I'm pretty much maxing out Crysis3 at 1080p. Your setup will be good for a long time friend :)

Great choice on the Aventum. Definitely one of our popular and flag-ship systems.

I will be at 2560 *1600 (Dell monitor)

I will be using two of those monitors.

I think they are 32+ inches off the top of my head
