Ask DS specifically for this fan to be added to the top, so you endup with 4 x 200mm fans: haf 200mm non led fan I uped your warranty to 3 year part (5 year labor) so that if you vcore is high and cpu dies within 2 years you are covered. if you don't want tri sli ability, we can go to p67 and save a bunch. Thanks for the build DST. Well i kinda been waiting for the x79 because i wasnt sure if the p67 would handle the monitor and it would be a shame to not use it to its fullest correct?

Depends on the game, for some games you may want to try tri sli for some games dual sli 570 2.5GB is all you need, for that reason I gave you only 2, you may just find out you don't need the third card, or you may want it for some games.

A rocking build from DST as always !! This machine should be incredible for gaming.
I am just curious from a pure overclock speed standpoint can anything be gained by going with the more expensive i7 3960K chip rather than the i7 3930K or will the end result of the O/C basically be the same?
thx .. neilkaz ..

You mean 3960x vs 3960k right?
if you are ocing under 5GHz its the same, but at around 4.8Ghz you gonna get into high vcore anyways. Edited by DST4ME - 18 Nov 2011 at 12:40am |
