I believe this config should be able to meet the gaming performance I am after, but I cant seem to find any information on the weight or thermal output of this particular model. I know this information is rather difficult to obtain for built to order system, but I could do with some ballpark figures.
Some other important info which is missing are the battery specs. In fact, I haven't noticed any mentioning of a battery on the config page.
PS: one final thing, as I was looking for a Message Icon to use for this topic, I couldn't help but noticing that the example icons displayed had little to do with the emotion selected. I chose Wink and it showed a crying animation, so lets see what happens =)
Edit: LOL, might want to fix that emoticon issue

looks good. Id consider a hybrid hard drive, that way you get a lot more space (15is had one drive bay I believe) or an external at least, since the games will start to take up a lot of space. Other then that, looks good.

Thank you for your interest in a Digital Storm gaming laptop! Here's the specs on the weight/size: 6.83 LBs with Battery Pack 14.80" (w) x 10.08" (d) x 1.38"~1.69" (h)
Battery life is about 3-4 hours, and during gaming, about 2 hours (this will vary). I'll let the team know about the message icons on the forums.

Redkulaid is right. That 120GB SSD already has almost 50GB of stuff on it, and you will probably run out of space quickly, unless you either add a multimedia hard drive or switch the primary.

I am a little skeptical of getting a hybrid hdd since I've heard that they don't last as long because of the constant spinning up and down. I most likely will grab a TB portable drive to take with me. Its interesting to see a 670m with 1.5GB vram instead of the 3GB in similarly priced models.

Yeah I was curious about that to, why do the DS laptops have the 670M with 1.5GB memory instead of 3?

Clevo offers the GTX 670M GPU with 1.5GB for that model.
