What are you deleting it from? I believe Windows Lite is the version installed on NetBooks. As long as you have another version of Windows to install on that device, there should be no reason you couldn't delete this version. It's used on netbooks to cut out all the unnecessary processes so the system doesn't get overloaded... I'm sure there are more well versed Windows users here than I, they should chime in soon...

You can definitely re-install an operating system without damaging any hardware. You may loose your saved data and programs however.
