I'm not too familiar with release schedules for new PC components.  To that end, I am planning to purchase a DigitalStorm PC in the next one to two months, and I am curious if there are any big releases I should be waiting for in that timetable. 

My budget is only going to be around $2,000, so I would like to build a future-proof (upgradeable?) machine.  So, is there any incentive to waiting longer than two months to make a purchase?

For what it's worth, the PC I am planning to purchase would be used primarily for gaming (widescreen, 1980x1280 preferably) and secondarily for document processing/spreadsheets.

well we have to wait for the new nvidia dx11 cards taht are fermi, but for your budget I'm not sure how far we can go, prices keep changing so its best if we wait when you are ready to purchase and see what the prices are.
