brian I want you to boot off the XP CD, choose install and then the first thing you'll see at the bottom of the screen is the option to press F6 if you need to install a SCSI or RAID controller, as soon as you see this I want to to press F5, notice now the bottom of the screen will ask for f6 but you are going press F5, once you do, it should take you to the hal options and you should see the multiprocessor option there (ACPI Multiprocessor PC), choose it and then reboot back to desktop

if after hal choice you can't exit and have to repair or install then choose repair, and we will just do the repair, since that would be the next step if hal does not work anyways.
just make sure ACPI is enabled before you start.
if F5does not work, try F7.

ok the screen said this:
Setup could not determine the type of computer you have select the computer type from the list: standard PC with C-Step i486 other
Now I pushed other and then the next screen said setup could no find floppy drive on your computer to load OEM drivers from Floopy disk.
Then I exited the setup
Should I try F7?

This is the kind of thread that really makes me happy that I chose to join the Digital Storm family. I know the folks at DS must be pleased that we all work together so much to resolve issues. The DS family is really unbelievable. It would be hard to have people believe how everybody is so supportive.
I just wish more of the folks suffering with other companies would have found out about this forum to save them a ton of grief. I am trying to tell everybody I know but they find it hard to believe. Some people have to be burned once or twice before they get the message.
Digital Storm would be the largest company of its kind if only more folks were aware of their high quality!
