I would like some advice on a new gamming pc,it will be used al most 100% for flight simulation,rise of flight,DC warthog,FSX accel.I was reading the article[buying and posting guide] and saw this configuration and thought this could be what i want,but would like some professional opinions.would 6gb of ram be enough?I just want something that will give me good fps and a good chance to catch my opponent and shoot him down.The price is about my limit. Ibought a new pc from digital storm 4 or 5 years ago ihave had no problems with it at all but would like to have an up grade.
any advice would be appreciated

Hi olekrow....   Alot of those parts in the build you posted aren't carried by DS anymore.  You didn't mention budget or the monitor and resolution you'll be using.
 
I would suggest looking at the Special Ops section, Dreadnought level 2 and going from there like adding  a second gtx 670 for sli for maxed out gaming on a 23" monitor at 1920x1080 resolution.  That would put you close to the build you posted, I believe.

That is a real nice build.Awesome
Going with the D14 air cooler instead of the 120mm Vortex was a great move.  Dependable and will cool better and quieter.
 
DCS A-10 Warthog will love this.  I'm waiting for Combined Arms.Drooling

Those sli, gtx 670's are gonna smoke that monitor.  Strong
 
You can even move up to a 1920x1080 if you ever felt the need and be good to go.

That is a great build for your budget. You don't need the sound card unless you have a sound system set up to take advantage of it. Sooner or later you will want to move up to a better monitor and your are good to go for that.

I just checked DS monitors they have an acer 23in wide screen high performance gaming monitor that is 1920X 1080 for $179.00 i think i will get that and drop the sound card. I dont have any special sound system except a woofer.

If you want to step up to a real nice 23" 1920x1080 monitor check out the Dell UltraSharp U2312HM.   Its a IPS monitor with great color and cllarity. I and many of the forum members have it .    They are more money, I think like$250 on sale, so wait for sale which Dell has pretty regularly.    Your bombing runs and SAM supprrssion missions will take on a whole new dimension. Hope this helps.

You still have some problems. I don't want to beat a dead horse but if you would give us your budget for just the computer we can post a build for you.

For instance, you didn't select better memory, you selected more expensive memory. Get the DS 1600 certified memory.

Im sorry i guess i have not approach this in the right way my budget for the 
computer would be somewhere between $2000.00 and $2700.00,but thought i would like to get another monitor ,was thinking about the dell U2412M,i now have  an  acerX223W with max resolution of 1680x1050@60HZ would it be necessary to get another for the new computer? if i were to buy a monitor then i would have to take around $300.00 from that budget. this is a lot of money for me to spend on a computer but i would like one i could max out my simulations on.I am open to any and all suggestions sorry for all the confusion.

Until Frank gets back to ya, have you checked out the ODE v2 level 4?  It is $2499 and for your budget is impossible to beat.  It has a SSD, HDD, blu-ray player and most importantly, a sli, 2x gtx 670 that will max out gaming on a 24" at 1920x1200 res. monitor.
 
DS does price these things to move and does a great job. 
 
Don't worry about confusion.  We've all been there and it does take time to get the best for the money.  Lots of stuff to pick from.

Well lucky for you bprat22 stopped by with his suggestion. I hadn't looked at the ODE v2 for a while and that is as good as you are going to get for your budget. A custom build would give you some upgrades in individual components but no better performance for your budget.

olekrow, The Dell 24" is a fine monitor but I don't see it with your budget. I would drop back to the Dell 2312HM. Not a big difference in screen size but will save some money.

If I had to choose between a better computer and use my old monitor, or a lessor computer and a new monitor, I would take the better computer. Monitors are relatively inexpensive compared to the computer. If you buy a lessor computer you are stuck with your choice for a long time. If you stick with your old monitor then eventually you can pick up a new monitor with out a big hit.

There is always the choice of getting a system with one GPU and add a new one later as you mentioned. A second GPU would cost more than a Dell 2312HM monitor. So why not have the power to start with and get a new monitor later.

This all comes down to your preferences and you should do what ever you feel is best for you. The choices are up to you.

Gentlemen:
I thank you for your input i really do appreciate it, i am lost when it comes to building a computer.The ODE V 2 level 4 looks good to me. one question about the liquid cooler could there be a problem the liquid leaking out?
I probably wont have the money to buy the computer for a month, how long would this price hold.? or maybe thats a question you cant answer.

The Vortex 240mm cooler is about the same as the Corsair H100 cooler if you want to google it and see what's up with it.  It is a very good unit and a sealed unit, unlike true water cooling.  No maintenance and the chance of a leak is pretty slim.  The fiuld inside is non-conductive, distilled water. 
The ODE changes on occasion, both in price and parts, depending on new products just coming to market and other factors in- house.  ODE is one of those pre builts, that if you see what ya like, then go for it, because ya never know.
 
DS does try to accomodate when changes are made, sometimes allowing configs just changed to be purchased for awhile.  They work hard to make customers happy.   No gaurantees though.

just a line to let you know i ordered the ODE V2 level 4 computer and its on its way!
now i need a better monitor to get the best out of it but that will have to wait till another day.
