Processor excellent, perhaps best gaming CPU ( until most games utilize all cores)
980 one of the best processors, of course the 970 is a better value - but it could be a noticeable improvement on some games You would not need that good of a power supply, unless you are thinking of SLI, in which case, go for it If possible I would consider a closed loop CPU cooler like the Corsair 100i, but Noctua coolers are great, my buddy has one. They are BIG, which is why I like the closed loop coolers. If I have to move my PC I am not as worried something will break. I also suspect the 100i might be a bit cooler than the Noctua, but I am guessing and you should let your personal preference be your guide. |
