Yes, I would get a puppy to start so that I could train him properly and what not.

Ya malamutes are very cute also.
for those of you that own dogs and have not came across the dog whisperer (cesar millan) you don't know what you are missing and wasting your time training your dogs.
instead learn to be your dog's calm assertive pack leader and you will have the dog you always wanted.
this guys basically figured out what others have not, he breaks it down for you to a science.
you would be surprised to find out that so many of the things we do with our dogs have a different meaning to the dog then we think.
understanding the "pack mentality" change the way me and Zeus used to be (from him being on the leash and never listening to me) to being off the leash and listening to me all the time, night and day, I only wish I knew this stuff when he was puppy.
If you own a dog, do your dog a favor and learn the "pack mentality" which how dogs communicate with each other.

I love that show, I am a huge dog person. They are truly amazing animals and I do love them a lot. I would love to have a Husky, they are awesome as well. I like Big Dogs really. One of friends had 10-12 great Danes, that was a sight to behold!

Hahaha holy crap! I could picture myself being trampled very easily by them, with me being so small compared to them... let alone 10-12! Lmao!

They are really nice, but it was funny seeing them running around a friend of mine who was afraid of dogs lol
My mother is not big on letting dogs into the house that is why I never had a dog really, but always wanted one.

This is a picture of me at Shuri Castle here in Okinawa, Japan. This is one of many sites that were destroyed by the Americans, but rebuilt to look like it did back in the day.

My hobby has been exploring caves. I was the president of the St. Louis Caving Society as well as being trained as a NREMT-B in cave rescue in Illinois & Missouri. I unfortunately have been involved in many body recoveries over the last few years and this makes you hug your kids and grandkids before you go to bed.
I have retired from cave rescue and general EMT activities recently. I used to introduce people into cave exploration for the state of Missouri & Illinois as well as restore caves and protect historic indian burial sites but now just take the grandkids on fun pleasure cave visits.

Wow, man, much respect Sir.
can't say your life had a shortage of excitement, if I was not so claustrophobic, thats a world I would love to explore, under water or not, caves are just amazing.

I also like to write poetry on occasion :-)
Searching
Always searching but ner to find
A life which is in someway kind
God what pains are brought upon
Those to whom this way have gone
Where is love that seems to hide
Away from those who seek her guide
Oh God what word can chime so sweet
As love for which can bring such peace
Feelings
Feelings that cloud which come from far
Touch not those knowing who they are
Senses somehow that defy perception
Shall persist for those ripe for deception
Lest thou not quest for this truth or lie
For here is found sin whose depth is sly
Question not from whence it has came
Alas hence shall be thine relief from pain
Dedicated to Tina Skulima
Life's Ways
When in life's ways when paths are crossed
People meet and stray apart
But with our meeting, I pray the best
That we should continue to the final test
For when I'm with you, I have no fears
My problems seem to melt like tears
For with you, I know I can always say
That no longer have I problems to weigh
Buzzard Cave
Talus and breakdown from an ancient bedding plane
A cool breath felt then summer seems to wane Cliff walls formed as if a theater were Taunt us onward as if just to lure
Stygian Grotto
Long known but to our God
Ageless passages hidden fast
Within the mist tortured stress
Darkness hides dancing shadows
To sense such inner beauty
Shared but seldom truly felt
The Lord speaks but so softly
Touch not but become as one
The Magic of a High Performance Culture
Freedom!
Everyone is a star!
Each working as each will while being considerate of the general welfare
of the team. The realization that true self attainment is only possible
in an ordered functional team setting. For whom the bell tolls is not
just of myth and fiction. This truth is self evident to successful people.
Think this not true then sow seeds of your own failure, believe and reap
a bountiful harvest. Embrace change for that is stability. Explore
diversity of opinion for there lies wisdom. Exploit diversity of member's
skill sets to serve the team's common mission and goals. Be Joyful!

Torrents of evil could not sway the brave crew
Descendants of the proud Basques and Celts
XIV Century beckoning voices from the grave
Swept by a lonely sea far from Motherland Spain
Master and crew fought bravely defending Right
Forming a "Club of Survival" against oppression
Respected by freedom loving peoples everywhere
Dedicated to Jose Luis Pardos

Islands in the Sun
Islands in the sun freed forever from the past
Their peoples' light of kindness shall always last
Blessings softly whispered from a hidden sea
Listen to sweet tidings meant for you and me

Well scrabble is smaller than the average sugar glider, but she's healthy. She fits in the palm of my hand when she curls up into a ball. Scooter is almost twice her weight and average size for a sugar glider. He prefers hanging out in the bonding pouch rather than in my top. Scrabble often will make a break from the pouch and climb right in my top hehehe.

A SPELUNKER. The Lava tubes in Bend, Oergon; and the Oregon caves are the ones I love to head into. Volcanic and limestone it is so cool.
