I like the look of the original.  The Alternative seems a bit too flashy, even plasticky?  Hard to tell without higher resolution screens, though.

The Alternative feels like it's trying to hard, and DS has always seemed to be more about clean, functional lines.

I voted for the original for its cleaner looks, less flash and better front fan and rear fan setup.    The k380 isn't my style, personally.

I do, however, like the idea of the option to install a side panel fan in the Alternate if video cards ever needed if. That is a strong feature for myself.

The original has great cooling and (to me) looks better. Clean and smooth. The alternate may look better with LED lighting when in the open rather than under the desk as mine is. But, all that light is just glare when you have 43 people trying to kill you. : )

Vanquish II Ultimate.

As I get to look at the original everyday,  I have to vote for it.  The K380 looks like flash and glitz, while the 230 seems to have the no nonsense, straightforward clean lines for function over form.

Alex.. just a thought, but what about offering a choice in the configurator under Vanquish.   I'm not sure of the logistics involved but the question could mean the supply of the original will continue to be hard because of demand and or customers calling in are showing an interest in the K380. It's never been done before with prebuilds for obvious reasons but a thought.

So far original looks like it has a small lead.

I voted original also.

To be honest the only thing I dislike about my case and both of the cases shown is having the ports right above the Dvd/Bluray drive.

It always causes me to have to left cables to get a disc into the drive.

I would love to see a case that had the ports on the side of the case or below the drive bays.

Just a thought from me.

I like the original a lot better than the K380. The original has much better cooling. The K380 has a dated look and not my cup of tea.

Windows 95 is probably still my favorite, based purely on how much it changed.

I actually preferred Win3.1 myself. Looked exactly like the Mac I was using at the time.

My first windows was Win 1.1 and it quickly went to 1.3. If I remember right it went from 1.3 to 3.1. At least that is the way we went.
