Yes, that will be fine.  The Vanquish II case is not meshed on the sides, only top, front and rear.  (And the bottom PSU Filter.)
 
As you can see, when you take the side panels off, they are solid and don't need any room for venting.
 
Front and rear and the most important areas for clearance, Clarence.  Then top and bottom and finally sides.
