This should help give you an idea how the VANQUISH II performs:

Everytime Alex throws something on the forums about the new Vanquish II, the smile on my face gets bigger and bigger.

Do you still have the benchmark of the Vanquish 1's to compare the changes?

Looks like all those are pretty amazing machines with rather decent fps on some rather demanding games like Crysis 3! Looks like TitanFall was built for the everyday person as it's fps is excellent even on the L1 Vanquish! BF4 is also looking rather well optimized and getting some great fps.

Great question on the previous VANQUISH benchmarks. We don't have them running the same tests so it won't be an apples to apples comparison. Performance would be fairly the same as we have not made any big graphics card or CPU changes, it's more of the case, motherboard, cooling to help bring the prices down.
In the end, giving our customers an even better system for their money.

You might want to add the resolution to the chart - I assume this is at 1080P? If so, those are very nice numbers for the price.

Good idea, we'll add the resolution. Yes, it was at 1080P.

Is there any other way to check other games not listed to see the game effects on the different systems?
As I stated on other post, I am just now starting to explore other games since I will be getting a new system. I now play World of Tanks, Warthunder, but looking to play other higher end MMO's once I get a new system. Another thing though, game mods greatly increase the need for a better system other then normal game specs. |

The best way to check how a game will run on your system is to hunt for benchmarks using Google. Generally, you'll want to run a search in the form: [Game] [GPU] Benchmark or [Game] [GPU] [CPU] Benchmark So, for the Vanquish II and World of Tanks, you'd run one of the following searches: World of Tanks GTX 750 Ti i3 4330k Benchmarks World of Tanks GTX 750 Ti Benchmarks Finding your exact system specs and screen resolution can be a bit hit-or-miss, but you can often extrapolate based on similar systems or slightly different resolutions. It may also be more of a challenge finding exact numbers for a budget build, as a lot of benchmarkers use powerful CPUs such as the 4770K to ensure that they're measuring ONLY the GPU's power and not being bottle-necked by the CPU when they're reviewing a GPU's capabilities. |

I would still like to see how your tests show your exact rigs performing on games those other sites don't tests as often, like World of Warcraft, Civilization V, Simcity, and DOTA 2. Your rigs are more tightly integrated and function as a whole, while those other sites are testing independent cards. Since I am looking to buy 2 DS for me and my wife, I really want to know how they play the games we play!

Not sure if we can test additional games at this time, but I will let the team know.

Got my Vanquish II Level 4 today, very nice system, a few minor flaws I have to mention so far.
1. Fans are pretty loud, appreciate cooling, but it's pretty darn loud 2. The bracket holding in the 1TB drive is broken, still held in place really well, and not really feasibly to send this back, wait two weeks for a slight defect, still bummed though 3. The SATA cable included is way too short to accommodate another HDD. I purchased a separate 3TB HDD and now I have to buy a SATA connector/extension and wait for that because it's impossible to stretch the SATA included due the way the SSD is installed. All minor gripes in an otherwise decent system, just some food for thought. |

Nice to hear that you got your system. The hdd bracket could have broken during shipping, due to jolts and what not so not really DS's fault. You could probably go into BIOS and turn down the fans to reduce the noise. Edited by ArkansasWoman777 - 31 Mar 2014 at 12:12pm |

Hehe, already did the fans, but the bracket that was broken, might be able to be replaced. I'm going to try to see if it can be replaced and not just the whole bracket unit (HD Bay). Still stinks about the SATA cable though, the ports are so close together I don't know how anyone could possible plug another one in without an extension.
Otherwise, loving the system. First time I've had a SSD drive, always thought they couldn't be THAT much faster, but damn. Edited by Revolver_OcelScott - 31 Mar 2014 at 12:21pm |

Interesting that you mention the fans. I have to look over at my Vanquish II to see if they are still running... I don't ever hear them.
Perhaps some folks are just more sensitive to the sound. That and the fact that I've quite pronounced hearing loss in one ear (the one away from the computer). Whatever happens, best of luck with your machine and hope you get years of enjoyment from it. Peace. |

Hello all. Sorry to bump this old thread.
I am on the verge of purchasing a Vanquish II to play some old games I have on my Steam account, especially Call of Duty, World at War, which I really miss playing. (yes, they still play that title)
I just want a machine that I can play some games on and have fun right out of the box as well as work on my website and surf the internet. I was originally looking into the Level 1, but I have just about enough to buy the Level 3 and get a 27" ASUS gaming monitor and pay for the shipping to New York. Would the Vanquish II, Level 3 satisfy the needs I outlined above? Admittedly, I'm not a computer pro and just want a decent, reliable machine that'll play some games right out of the box. Is the Level 3 worth the jump/price compared to the Level 1, which I was originally going to buy? Thanks for any info, advice or suggestions. Jeff |

one question here:
How long will it last? and will it support the upcoming "next-gen" games? Willing to get it by christmas and play GTA V |

The Vanquish systems change every several months or so as new hardware is released and how available the present graphics cards, motherboard s, etc are. DS doesn't give any info on future systems. But, their pre built systems always stay very reasonably priced. New graphics cards were just released by Nvidia and older ones discontinued so changes could happen but only DS can guess when.
As far as playing future games, you can play pretty much any game, but the settings, medium, high, ultra, depends on your monitor resolution and the games which vary a lot in demands. Hope this helps. Edited by bprat22 - 24 Sep 2014 at 3:17am |

Alex or Nav, Not rushing anyone , but an updated graph with the latest level 4 change would be awesome, when time allows.
