I was taking a closer look at the Vanquish (Desktops page says 2, Configurator says 3, guess they upgraded), and I'm wondering about the Level 4 cooling.

Is there enough clearance between the aftermarket cooler and the top of the case to install two fans at the top of the case? I'm looking to get the Vanquish for a great foot in the door and for upgrading experience, and the fans are what I'm looking at first.

Going by the past air coolers they've used or any I've seen, there should be plenty of room in the default 230T case.

Alex, Nav, etc would have to confirm 100% without us knowing the exact cooler they are using now.

Hi milesprower06,

I think the Vanquish uses the Corsair 230T case and it comes with two 120mm front fans and one rear 120mm exhaust fan. There is space at the top for two 120mm/140mm fans. There is one 120/140mm fan at the bottom. Lots of cooling opportunities.

There is room in the case to add more fans, with that cooler we use. However, you don't really need to do that, the CPU runs cool and so does the hardware, adding more fans is just going to push more dust and make your system louder. It's not necessary.
