USB ports on Digital Storm Vanquish II

My USB ports have been shutting off when I plug in another device such as a Xbox controller. Any help appreciated.

Try using the rear USB ports.   The front ports might not have enough power but this is a guess.

I have tried all ports I've also tried unplugging everything but my mouse and keyboard and they still die when I plug the controller.

Other than making sure the latest drivers for the controller are installed, I got nothing.

Maybe others can chime in that use console controllers with their pc.

I use a wired X-Box controller with my Slade without any problems. If I recall correctly, I had to download a driver from MicroSoft and afterwards my controller performed as expected.

If I read your posts correctly, everything works fine for you until you plug in your X-Box controller and then the USB attached devices all cease to function. That suggests to me that something is wrong with the X-Box controller.

Now for some questions:
01. Is your controller a Microsoft device or is it a third party item?
02. Is your controller wired or wireless (connects with a cable or a dongle)?
03. Do you have a second controller available that you could try in place of the first one (this includes the dongle if the first controller is wireless)?
