I was in the market for a new computer since about 2 weeks ago. Googled the word "best custom pc" and saw DS and many other companies, but the good reviews caught my attention. 

landed on the vanquish two series.but couldn;t decide if  i wanted/needed level 3 or 4.  I watched pretty all of the videos on these on youtube. read and searched forums, and I pulled the trigger on the level 4.
Very excited. Although i watched and read lots of imformation
what can i expect! I CANT WAITTTT

Performance should actually be a bit better now due to updated drivers.

Ordered on Thursday the 12? ... with a weekend the latest they would ship would be Monday, the 16th...

Depending on how far they ship, you've got usually 2 - 5 days... so... it's gotta be in transit.

Im located in GA, ordered on the 11th.
got an email on 14th sayin its being shipped.  I've been trying to track it on UPS, but im getting this message  "

A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."

called DS, they told they dont not have it anymore and I should call UPS. Called ups and they said shipping label hasnt been finalized? and i should be getting the package sometime next week.
Now... what ANNOYS me is that while this is happening an updated version of the comupter that I dont know its whereabouts has came out...

I would suggest that you contact DS again and see if they can work with UPS to track down the package. If they don't help, you should probably email Alex with your order number and details of what is going on.

As far as them updating the system, that just happens as new products are introduced. It is always be a risk when you buy any new electronic device that something newer comes out soon after your purchase. Many technology companies don't announce new products until they are ready for release.

It looks like the updated the CPUs on at least some of the Vanquish models to the recently released updated Haswell parts. I think these are the ones that were released at Computex, not the Devil's Canyon parts.

Edit: Opps, these were actually released in May, not at Computex. I am not sure how new they are to the Vanquish line.

I understand technology is being updated that is something that i have no control over. Like I have stated it just ANNOYs me that i dont even have the thing in my possesion and a new version is out.

The way i see it, its best to buy a system instead of waiting for new versions or hardware to come out because you don't know when it will be released.

Glad to hear!

The VANQUISH II does not come with internal LED lighting, the blue glow is from the front LED fans. This is also reflected on the order specs when you place an order (View Cart) and the invoice that is emailed to you:

Internal Lighting: - No Thanks

i had to go to ups to pick up my computer. box was so big so it wouldnt fit in my car lol. also packaging was awesome! this thing is super fast
