This game is fun and addicting, friends of mine on FOH forums recommended it and it sure has replayability.

yeah, I loved Diablo2 and Titan's Quest, and this game has got me hooked.
 
Diablo2 is STILL on the shelves and it's ten years old. Why can't more game developers get the hint and emulate it? We want phat lootz!
 
At 5-10 bucks USD you get a hell of a lot of game, too. It's an "Indy" title, but not really, some of the original developers of Diablo created it.

They released this game because they needed to garner enough money to make the MMO version of this.

Yeah, so there (probably) won't be any expansion or even a Torchlight II - all of the profit is going towards building their Torchlight MMO. Sad for me, as I don't like MMO's, but ~shrug~.
 
Supposedly it's a "play for free" MMO, where they get profit is from items you purchase in the ingame shops. Last I heard anyway.

btw, due to public demand, they ARE making a Torchlight 2. Not their upcoming MMO, but a sequel. With co-op!

Torchlight , awesome , and in alot of ways , its predecessor  " Fate " is superior , even though its simpler and  " younger " looking with random dungeons , it has a feel and atmosphere , the music the voice acting ... its quite special  .
