I would to, on my i7 860 CPU, with the UD14 Noctua at 4.1Ghz I have tried a lot of fan combo's and ended up with the stock 140mm in the middle, and 2 GT 1150 RPM on each end, and temps are too high for me, tried several differnt mounts, and several different TIM's, and did find a few degrees difference there, but without fans, on an open test bench, about 3.4Ghz is all I could get, never tried it without fans in the H.alf A.ss F.ugmister case.

The Assassin is a great chassis with a controlled airflow design. We were hitting around the mid 80's on full load at 4.0GHz with that setup.

Alex, I am not seeing a huge difference between the assassin and the raven 2. Could the same thing be said about the less expensive case?

@coolmasta, the Raven 2 and the Assassin have a similiar internal design, but the Assassin has a better external build quality with aluminum/steel versus the Raven 2 plastic shell.
@DST4ME, some people want a mid-tower with efficient air cooling properties.

And that is fine, the 922 does it without bringing shame and easy access to drive bays.

Lol why such hate on the assassin? The price? Just wondering cuz from everything DSO has been saying it has great airflow and I was considering it for my upcoming new DSO build.

I can get better air flow and temps for less, and not block any of my drive bays backend, I know the pull out on the side but the wires and everything still go the backend.

man! these are some well thought and very nice looking builds. I like that case a lot and can see the quality of having those high end parts in case like that. might have t tweak the configuration to able to afford it gut would def be an investment.

I dun like the Assassin really. Too deep, and a hanging PSU scares the heeby jeebies out of me. Raven 3 FTW!
