I worked next door to this company for 3 years. CH products makes the best flight control system. I bought my first flightstick pro over 10 years ago and still worked till I upgraded to a new one useing USB.
Good quality, last forever.

actually, I am trying to get us to carry the CH Products. Saitek doesn't care about their customers and their tech support doesn't even know their product nor flight sims!!! So eventually, we will offer specific pcs for flight sims and we'll have the controller hardware to add into the configuration.

Oh here is an idea. If someone wants one of the flight sim computers, and say they want FS then you could pre load it. But if they want a plane thats not in the FS program itself you could go out and download it onto their comp for them. (ie B-1B bomber or C-17). I know there are a bunch of cool planes out their to add on (When flying bombers I downloaded the B-1 and it was awsome!)...just an idea

no, that's too much work. We could load fs but that's pushing it since it takes hours upon hours upon hours configing it.
As far as planes, that's up to the customer. Learning how to use your programs is half the fun of owning it.

learning codes such as making programs is fun as hell. I use to make maps on CS a long long time ago, I haven't made a map for over 4 years now and I can't remember how to do it lol. I'll get back into making maps once I get a new computer to play the game's on.
I am more into BF2 and stuff right now though.
Do those work on BF2 when flying planes and/or helicopter's?

yes they do... but for bf2, the only controllers I use are the x52's for the jets. Everything else is mouse/keyboard.

I have a Saitek Flight control System (Throttle and Joystick) and it's awesome. It's a few years old, kind of like the equivalent of the one that is photographed in this thread but without the LCD screens. So much fun in combat and commercial flight sims.. The action is smooth and there are tons of customizable buttons, and I've never had problems getting drivers from the site - although I haven't checked to see if I'll be able to use it with my Vista64 system..
The only issues I have with it are the balance on the throttle (the weight of me increasing the thrust sometimes tilts the whole piece forward, and the center position for the joystick is wobbly by like afraction of an inch, but enough to make level flight a bit inaccurate from time to time.

In that Flight Simulator X, are those real places that are mapped out? I mean could I fly over New Brighton Minnesota? that would be 'n sweet if I could fly over my house and see it. If I can do that I will by a $300 flight setup and by 2 extra monitors.
