This is about my Syndicate Cube.
A while ago when I had time I replaced my Intel SSD with a 850 Pro 1TB. Tried cloning but the Intel was to corrupted. So I installed my 850 and loaded W7 Ultimate. I have a backup WD HDD external and downloaded all my old lost programs to the new SSD. Ok I also have a Internal HDD. Now I have some double and triple files of the same thing. Sigh. Found a program online that could get rid of the extra files. I used it. Took awhile to get rid of all the extra files but oh yes it did. And it got rid of most of the originals also. Im an idiot. Its a disaster. BSOD after BSOD. I used the W7 disk to repair files. Worked for awhile but now I'm back to BSOD and my system can't find my video card. All last night I tried to reload from W7 disk. 30 mins ago I had the last BSOD because I shut it all down and gave up. I'm thinking I will have to reformat my SSD? And just reload the OS and I am such a dip ++++. And the internal HDD is completly screwed up now also. So maybe reformat that? So im guessing that the only answer is the above? To re download whats left of my external files from the HDD? With re doing everything will my OS find the video card? What a nightmare. Im off to bed so I can go to work tonight. Where is that Scotch? |

That bites, big time.
Yeah, my guess would be a wipe and re-install. Dang Cube strikes again. Edited by bprat22 - 25 May 2015 at 7:40am |

Yep, agreeing with the above.
Its best to be very, very wary of those fully automated "Duplicate File Finder" programs. Even the ones that don't delete the originals, well, sometimes those duplicates have a purpose. I don't use them often, but when I do its the ones that are more manual. Sorry it ate your stuff! |
