Looks pretty awesome I like that you got the custom fan mod on the door will be great for your planned future SLI upgrade. The only thing I would have done different would be to get a 780 or above. I performance/temperatures on the 770 I had did not meet my expectations. I think I just had a bad unit though.
Anyway welcome to the community! The service Digital storm provides cannot be found anywhere else. The community here on the forums is also second to none. Did i really just beat Bprat and snaike to the punch... OMG |

Yep, you did. That does look like a real nice system. I would opt for the 850watt psu, just more headroom and less chance of the psu operating above the 80% efficiency point. Most reliable sites recommend an 850 watt for sli 770. The 750 watt psu will work, so your call. I also would go for the 780. Its another 20-25% better fps in most games than the 770 and might make sli not needed. Single card is always better if it meets your needs. Of course, the monitor's resolution you'll be using is all important. If its a 1920x1080 the single 780 will rock. I think I read that the 280mm rad with the 760T case means the top slot of your 5.25" array is taken up partially and your optical drive is in the next one down. Not a big deal at all for most, but just something to be aware of. If you do feel the need for changes, DS will do it no problem if early enough. Good Luck and stay in touch. @Ragevirusqq Yes, yes you did. @StealthG6 As bprat pointed out, though, on the new rig... there is still time to speak to DS and make any changes that you wish to have made. DS is really in this to make you as happy with your new machine as they can. As you've ordered on Friday they are probably still in the part picking stage. Any changes can be made with a telephone call to them Monday. Or, you could also hit Alex's email at [email protected] or [email protected], include your order number and any special instructions for your build. You know DS is not going to hurry this process as they want you be gaming on the best possible rig. They want to get it right the first time as much as you do. Oh, and welcome to the family here... I almost forgot because that Ragevirusqq threw off my timing. |

Interesting, thanks for your feedback guys!
Didn't know about that with the 280mm Rad but it doesn't like a big deal. I probably should of went with a higher PSU but, I've read the 750 is really good even for upgrades. As for the video card I was aware of this I looked up the reviews on the 770 and they were mostly 5 Stars and the reason I didn't get the 780 is it's a big jump in price so I opted for the graphics card overclock to compensate some and get the maximum potential out of that 770. |

The Vanquish II Ultimate comes with the 770 .... I couldn't be happier with it. Everything it's supposed to be and more with all the stuff I've thrown at it. It's a great card. |

Did you know a lot of PSU's don't even hit their rated efficiency ratings until they are 50% or higher on usage?
So realistically, you want a PSU that you can keep under a good load, rather than buy a 1200 watt psu and only use 400 watt's of power. Edited by Meller - 15 Jul 2014 at 5:18pm |

I noticed my computer is on Stage 5 already in just one day. It moved from 10-15 days shipped to 5-10 days. It seems like everything is going smoothly and I will have it much sooner than I anticipated. Just want to see what you guys think if that is normal or not and they aren't rushing?
Anyways I am pretty excited. |

The 10-15 days is always a conservative estimate. Consider the upgrade in estimates as "catching all the lights green".
Remember, DS is going to guarantee that system is 100% stable. They don't cut corners because as much as they value you as a customer, they really don't want to see the machine again... if you know what I mean. There is one thing you may want to do... give Alex ([email protected]) a message to link the email your forum account with the email linked to your order. That way you get the really cool "Verified Customer" label under your name. *Edit ... gotta stop trying to make sense after another 26 hour day... Edited by Snaike - 14 Jul 2014 at 6:37pm |

Orders can jump stages and stay in Stage 5 for a while, etc... Plus, some orders get priority service automatically if the team has some extra headroom. Don't worry about us trying rush it as that's the last thing we want to do since we have to stand behind our product and provide you with our lifetime support and hardware replacement warranty.
In regards to the "Verified Customer" badge, make sure your email address for your forums account is exactly the same (including case sensitive) with the email you used for your purchase. |

Rig update!
I went ahead and bit the bullet and added another GTX 770 gpu. I was going to upgrade anyway so might as well let DS do it too and the graphics card is around the same price a little cheaper. This thing should last me 10 years lol. Thanks again Alex for your response I literally got of the plane and got your email. |

You might want to read up on SLI with Nvidia cards. Allot of my games (Skyrim, Civ 5, Battlefield 3, and Grid Autosports) and others have to be played in windows mode to get the game to run right visually

I am playing with a single monitor, and the research I has done online, has been a big help in fixing most of the troubles.

My computer
has been delayed a few days until next week. Alex informed me about the
Gigabyte Sniper mother board they don't get them very often so they want to
make sure it is working good. I am still very anxious, I feel that my computer
had some problems but if it did it is better to happen at DS HQ and not my
house so all is fine if they get it working right and ready to plug in play as
soon as it gets here safely. I’ve been probably annoying Alex but he has been very helpful on giving me updates to my emails whenever I send them, so far there has been great customer service there. I even called and got right through. Edited by StealthG6 - 26 Jul 2014 at 10:31am |

Yeah I even thought about calling in sick at work for a day. I don't have a tracking number so its even more distressing. When I open my account it says Tracknig #: N/A. Even though it entered stage 7 two days ago. My biggest concern of all is it coming here and working right, I pray there are no complications or problems.

That's why they keep them so long in building them... to make sure when the rig leaves the shop it's 100% in every way they can test.
I would rather have a company spend an extra 3 days getting it right then have them spend an extra 3 months shipping it back and forth.
Like I said.. hang in there.
