For the single 30" monitor at 2560x1440 or so, a single gtx 680 will play the games you mentioned earlier like nwn and Dragon Age no problem at all on max.  Some games, like BF3, Metro2033 would have to have some settings turned down if you had to have ultra settings and fps over 60 at all times. 
 
Here's a link that benches some games.  These are averages, so at times the fps will be higher and at times lower.

You have to consider what work you are doing with the computer across three screens. The 680 is tuned for Gaming and its benchmarks are not very impressive. Is the work you do graphics intensive? If your work includes a lot of graphical work than I might go with two 680s or maybe even change to the AMD 7970. Graphical work and gaming takes a lot of power at a resolution of 7680x1600. I wouldn't even try it with one GPU. You might even need to go to a workstation GPU.

Maybe someone who uses 3 X 2560 monitors can share their experience.

Thanks for your advise.
My work is not that graphics intensive.(photoshop editing and doing some analytics and statistics of financial data) 
 
I decide to go for HAF-X for the case (I found a way to convert 5.25 drives to 3.25 inch drives) and intem of GPU, I am thinking about 680 GTX sli.(However,
I will take a look at crossFire 7970.)
 
I hope that 4 GB memory of GPU supports triple monitor max resolution (either 27 inch or 30 inch resolution)

I could be wrong, but I don't believe vram adds up in sli.  If you have 2 cards with 2GB each then you still have on 2GB to work with.
 
DS just added the gtx 670 to configurator.  Initial testing shows it performs within 10% of gtx680 for $250 less per card. That's initial benchmarks.

Thanks, I will look at GTX 670.

I was thinking about getting 580 GTX, then 680 GTX came out. Then 690 GTX came out. Finally 670 GTX arrived. Nice.

Hi yealpong,

If you're concerned about noise take a look at this review of the ASUS GTX 670 Direct CU II, it is unbelievably quiet, and actually faster than a stock 680. Given it's cooler is not a reference design it will still dump heat into the case, but that's probably won't be a real issue. Also, as said earlier Kepler cards have low Open GL/CL performance if that's a concern in your Photoshop applications.

Thanks for the info. I am waiting for 670 GTX 4 GB version. I found that 4 GB version is on the market. (plan to get sli) this will help to run max resolutions of triple monitor.
