 Received email that it passed stage 7 yesterday. I guess the next stage is waiting for it to arrive. Still waiting for FED EX tracking #. Pictures of mine are under Computer Build of the Month page 4.Now having to worry about FED EX beating my computer around!!!!  I had it shipped in a wooden crate, hope that helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi surf71zx, welcome to the DS family.

The problem with shipping is not so much that the package gets hit but, because it is dropped or thrown in or out of a truck. The sudden stop causes the cards or cooler to move. That is why we always have to re-seat the units and check the cooler on receipt.

My computer is on its way home! Digital Storm gives you 3 options on how you want your computer shipped to you. The 1st is the carton, the 2nd is the wooden crate, and the 3rd is the suitcase; the ultimate. I chose the suitcase. The shipping weight is 115lbs. My back is hurting just thinking about lifting it!!!!!!!! The 2nd box weighs 15lbs. Will take pictures of the suitcase and the INDIRECT CASE LIGHTING Alex was suppose to of taken and posted on the forum.
