So I just bought a Vanquish II level 4 and was wondering if I could SLI another card in there if I want to at a later time. I am anxiously awaiting my new rig!
No excuses

I can tell you by looking at my GTX770 in the Vanquish II Ultimate that even if the mobo supported SLI there would be absolutely no room on the mobo to install a second card w/ SLI bridge.  There is one PCI Express slot left and the width of today's cards just wouldn't fit.

The Vanquish II Ultimate is a great entry level beast of a machine.  If you want to get into stuff like SLI, water cooling, over 16G RAM, over-clcoking, et al, you're going to have to get a different model / mainboard.

But for just general gaming this machine is perfect.

You wouldn't be able to drop another card into it. But, if you wanted extreme power, you could always sell your GTX 770, and put the money from it + the money you would have spent buying another card towards buying like a GTX 780 ti or a GTX Titan Black, which either or would destroy anything you threw at it.

Or, while I'm not 100% on this, I would think with just one PCI-e slow, you could always buy a dual gpu card, such as the 295X2 or the GTX Titan Z or GTX 690... etc... You get my point. So when the 800 or 900 series comes out and you want to buy something new but want the power of SLI, just wait til the end of the line dual gpu cards are released.

I will say this, should go with something like a Titan Z or a 295X2 or GTX 690 (or whatever dual gpu single card) you will definitely have to buy a whole new PSU. Just a downward slop. Want to throw money at one thing, but have to throw money at something else just to be able to throw money at the first thing. Haha.

Recommendation. Love the hell out of your GTX 770 for a while, especially on a single or double 1080p monitor set up. Or even a single 1440p monitor set up. Then when the GTX 880's come out, upgrade to it. That single GTX 770 can support a 1440p monitor or a couple of 1080p monitors by it's self without much trouble at all.

I believe the first mobo with SLI that DS has is the G1.Sniper which obviously doesn't come with the Vanquish, You would have to go with a more custom build than the Vanquish models if you wan't SLI.
