Hello everyone, I bought a Hailstorm this past July and I really love my system, however. when I configured it I got the Samsung 256 GB 840 pro and a WD 1TB hard drive for storage. Well my SSD with all my games, OS, ect, has 40 GB left and the WD storage drive has 880 GB. At some point soon I will run out of space on my SSD. I love the SSD because of the speed it loads everything. I need some advice here on what to do about more disc space. If at some point I need to buy a SSD with more GB's how would I move everything from the old ssd to a new ssd and add OS, games without loosing everything. I have most of my games and stuff backed up on the WD storage drive. Anyone that has some ideas I would appreciate some help. Thanks.

If you plan on just replacing your smaller SSD for a larger one you should be able to just clone the data from one to the other. Some SSD drives might come with software (or have a free download for one) or you can use a separate drive cloner like Acronis.

fstcvc, I never really thought about that. Sounds like just the solution for me. I have never cloned anything. Is it very difficult? That is exactly what I won't to do is move to a larger SSD. Are there any instructions that shows you how to do that?  Thanks so much for that idea.

Most cloning software should be similar to that of copying a CD/DVD. Select source and target and let it copy everything over. If there are any options, they might include making the drive bootable and maybe formatting. Other than that it's a 1:1 copy. Replace old drive with new one (so that way you don't have to change BIOS settings on which drive you boot from) and you should be good to go.

Thanks fstcvc for your help, now to get a clone program. I'll try the one you suggested.
