I am toying with another upgrade for my system. Normally I would assume the Evo Pro would be the way to go.
Amazon has the Evo 500GB for $299 with the Evo Pro 512Gb for $409. Should I just bite the bullet and spend the extra money? This will be my primary boot drive. Any other brands I should consider? Edited by Ariktu - 25 Feb 2014 at 12:12am |

I just ordered a samsung evo 840 1 TB from Amazon to replace my 256 pro ssd because it is used up almost. Just 12 GB left. I am going to clone the 256 to the new 1TB. I have read good reports about the evo even though it is cheaper than the pro. I don't think you could go wrong with the evo.

For those looking for a good deal on a large SSD, TigerDirect has the Samsung EVO 750GB for $360 & FREE shipping. I think the sale lasts for a couple more days!!
