I purchased my first Digital Storm gaming pc back in 2009. Great machine. Made me happy. Recently, it went pining for the fjords and has not sent a postcard.
Time for an upgrade! After some consideration, the Bolt 3 (level 2) is looking like it has lots of power and potential. I'm almost afraid it's too much for my modest needs, but I also buy for the future. I might could back off to level1, but I liked the processor/video card package of the level 2. My monitor is presently 1920x1080, so not too challenging, but an upgrade is being considered. I have been out of the loop for a while, but my research suggests this build gets excellent reviews, has solid components, and is likely to stay relevant for a good long while. What do folks think of it? If you were to upgrade or change any of it, what would you do? I changed the mother board, HDD and cooling. Based on your 3k budget: $2920.00 https://www.digitalstormonline.com/configurator.asp?id=1194999 Better MB (and sound) better HDD with better warranty and since it is a SFF case better cooling. |

Vanquish II Ultimate.
I was laying in bed looking up at the stars and wondered "where is my ceiling?" |
